After being on the plane for 17 hours, we were ready to move! We checked in to our hotel, the Marina Bay Sands, and then walked around the bay to Chinatown. We had great chicken rice, ramen, prawns, and edamame.
Tonight was flammable gas training with DPSST. Makes for good pictures as the sun starts to go down.
Kindergarteners are paired with 8th graders at MRA. Every Wednesday is buddy day and they get to spend time together. The 8th graders also show their little buddies around the school and look out for them during free play times. Kenzie had two buddies: Wyatt and Kayla. During the eighth grade graduation, all the little buddies from Trillium said some encouraging words to their big buddies as they go off to high school. Most of the 8th grad buddies came back today to share some encouraging words as their little buddies graduated from kindergarten! Here is Kenzie’s buddy Wyatt. Her other buddy, Kayla couldn’t make it today.

At MRA every student is required to do an end of year project, and this includes the Kindergarten class. Kenzie decided to do her project on “Being a Farmer.” She picked the project, put together the board, and come up with the whole presentation on her own. Pretty amazing for a kindergartener! As an added bonus, she brought “Bunny” as a prop for her presentation and she was a hit with the whole class.

For Kenzie’s first project, she decided to talk to her friends about what it’s like to be a ‘total farmer ‘. She made a poster board with all her her farm animals and some farm jobs, like gardening, and wore her egg collection apron that Maga CeCe made for her.
Kenzie was Princess Luna and had a blast. She even entered into the cosplay contest!
Jodi was Trixie for the evening event… the Grand Galloping Gala!
