Flight 113 home from OC
We had a great time but looking forward to going home!
We had a great time but looking forward to going home!
This kid is determined to make it to midnight and see what this New Year’s Eve thing is ask about. She took a nap earlier in the day on her own (which never happens) and is now furiously making bracelets to keep herself awake. 1 hour to go!
Even though it’s a couple more days to Christmas, it’s our last night at home before heading to Las Vegas and then Zion National Park. Kenzie fell asleep under the Christmas tree…
Instead of Zoo Lights, we tried out the Oregon Garden this year. Lots of lights, snowless sledding, and ice skating… the kids had a blast!

Oregon City Swim Team fun! Coach Rick is great with the kids!
Cornica, Kenzie’s elf, returned on December 1st. Kenzie said she thought she would appear on the porch and… sure enough, she did! Here’s what she’s been up to this week:
We went to Mt. Saint Helens for the weekend. It was beautiful!
Kenzie made the Oregon City novice swim team. She and her friend Emma celebrated with some frozen yogurt.
When I asked her if she was excited to be on the team, Kenzie said she did it mostly for Emma and a little bit for herself because she loves to swim. She is really looking forward to being on the team with her friend and classmate, Emma.
