Estacada Lawn Mower Races
You KNOW it’s going to be a good weekend when the lawn mower races are in town. Big night out in Estacada for the Kuhns!
New garden enhancements
We finally put up out little greenhouse and started an herb garden in the flower bed along side the pump house.
More Gardening
In between crazy down pours this weekend, we got in a berry patch. Miranda gave us about a dozen raspberry shoots (on the right), marionberry/boysenberry shoots (on the left), and about two dozen stawberry plants (down the middle). Hoping for enough of our own berries to make at least one batch of jam this fall!
Finally in the garden!
Although still cool with lots of rain, we think it’s safe to start the garden. Here’s a before and after shot. We planted some sugar snap peas, strawberries, squash, potatoes, peppers, cauliflower, walla walla onions, radishes, corn, pumpkin, watermellon, and lots of tomatoes!
