Week 15
Now that she’s rolling, it’s tough to keep her in one position!
Now that she’s rolling, it’s tough to keep her in one position!
Yup! Kenzie rolled from her back to her stomach for the first time tonight!
We attended the memorial for Justin Fraijo today. He volunteered with the Colton Fire Department and worked as a firefighter for Oregon Department of Forestry. At just 21 years old, Justin touched a lot of lives, as evident by the packed high school gym and the nearly 20 emergency response vehicles that participated in his procession.
Here, firefighters that volunteered to cover the district during today’s events, solute Justin’s casket and the procession as they passed the Colton fire station.
…And all smiles!
Kenzie has been in her center for a little over a week and, based on the feedback from her teachers, she is doing great! She eats well, takes long naps in her own crib, and interacts with the other students. They also say she smiles OFTEN! Here is some of her artwork and a picture of her sharing floor time with a friend.
Kenzie showing off her super strong neck muscles! But then again, she does have a small head 🙂
3 months old today!
In addition to our weekly pictures, I found an awesome example of monthly pictures from Pinterest! Here are Kenzie’s first 3 months.
Kenzie attended her center for the first time today and, as you can see, wasn’t bothered by the thought of staying one bit (can’t say the same for her mom!!)
Once in Ms. Tawney’s classroom, Kenzie settled in to the Boppy and was content to watch everyone move around her.
She only stayed 3 hours her first day and her teacher said she was very laid back, even taking a nap in her crib! Even though she had a good first experience, she was still happy to go home with her mom.
Very happy girl today!
