When I picked up Mackenzie from her center today, she was in their ‘pool’ with Rowan, listening to Ms. Van read a book.

Kenzie’s first Pride festival – great opportunity to meet up with Gloria & Lisa, Dan & Sissy!
Is finally warm enough outside to get some stuff done so we all headed out. Brandi promptly found her spot in the driveway, while Kenzie rode around in the wagon.
Kenzie now has several more treasure baskets so we can rotate through different options: brushes, all things wood, balls, and textures. Because we don’t play with them everyday, she spends a lot of time pulling each item out of the basket and exploring it before moving on to the next. I think the brushes and shiny things baskets are her favorite and will keep her entertained for at least 45 minutes.
Tucker discovered that clean up duty after Kenzie eats her peas, carrots, and sweat potatoes is a pretty good gig!
I don’t know, but somehow I think the extra eye makes her look cross eyed!
Now we’re in trouble! But so far, she can only push herself backwards.
When she grows up and sees these pictures, but she is so darn cute when she sleeps with her butt up in the air! Grandma Jean calls it the ‘stink bug’!
Dylan made his move on Kenzie, completely unprovoked by any adults in the room. He was also happy to repeat it several times so we could get the pictures. We’re definitely going to have to keep an eye on these two!
Having dinner at Wichita Grill and Kenzie sat in a restaurant high chair for the first time! She really enjoyed sitting up by herself and seeing all the action. Mom even had to brag to the waitress that it was her first time in a high chair – what a dork!
