Brad and Mackenzie headed out to let the chickens out today and pick up whatever was ripe along the way. Quite a haul today. Some tomatoes, 2 kinds of squash, and an egg. Mackenzie was very interested in the tomatoes, they are just her size.
Later today we harvest the apple tree (probably about 50 or 75 pounds. Here comes the applesauce!

Friends – this is Brenna, a coworker’s daughter. Kenzie was helping her finish her puffs!
One of the farm chores we need to get done before the rain returns is fire wood. This year, we have an extra helper – Mackenzie! Well, she may not be helping, but she’s so good about staying entertained in her wagon as we roll her around the farm.
Now that Kenzie can stand, she is starting to practice her walk!
We took Kenzie swimming at the Clackamas community swim center last weekend, and she did great! We started out slow, but by the end of our hour there she was floating on her back, jumping off the side, and going under water – great job, baby girl!
We walked over to our neighbor Rhonda’s house for a small BBQ.
And on the walk home, Kenzie just couldn’t stay awake!
Kenzie had fun playing with all of the kids at Dylan’s party. She even got to play in the bounce house!
