Super Bowl
Our own Super Bowl party…
Our own Super Bowl party…
Swinging all by herself today!
We took our first trip up to MT. Hood (actually, just to Government Camp), and Kenzie got to play in the snow. She wasn’t too sure about it at first, but would laugh when we pulled her quickly on the sled.
When Jodi picked Kenzie up from school today, she had a new do! Her teacher put her in pig tails… Too cute!
Although it’s still pretty cold outside, Kenzie bundled up and went for her first ride outside.
Well, after a sad delay due to her pediatrician’s unexpected death on Christmas Day, Kenzie finally had her 1 year check up. She’s 30 inches long (75th percentile) and 22 lbs (73rd percentile). She has 8 teeth showing (only 2 are completely in), and is walking like a pro!
Waiting for her new doctor:
After all the poking, prodding, and two shots! She’s such an easy going kid!
As part of Mackenzie’s ADHD study at OHSU, they wanted to get an MRI of her brain. We tried several weeks ago but she wouldn’t stay asleep. This time we scheduled the appointment for 9pm and by 10:15 she was completely out! She slept through the whole 17 minute session and the researcher was able to capture all of the images she needed.
It was one year ago today that we brought Kenzie home from hospital. What a special day New Year’s will always be for us! Last night, we went over to Kent and Miranda’s house and Kenzie got her new year’s kiss from Dylan! Then today, we took Kenzie to a new aquarium that just opened in Clackamas. She had fun watching all of the fish and even touched her first stingray!
