OHSU…Again!
Kenzie tripped and fell while playing at school today. Her teachers thought she bit her lip since she had a little blood in her mouth. They said she wasn’t quite herself throughout the day and, when they were having snack in the afternoon, Ms. Shelly noticed that Kenzie had a LARGE cut on her tongue! I picked her up and we went straight to the OHSU emergency department. The doctors said they could either give her 3 stitches (the cut is deep!) or she could go on a liquid diet for 4 days and let it heal; we went with the liquid diet and no stitches! The nurse gave Kenzie bubbles and her very first popsicle – that made her day much better!
Finally…
Kenzie is pulling her own weight with farm chores!
A-Okay!
Kenzie had a pretty bad ear infection a couple weeks ago so we took her back in for a check up. The doctor said her ears look great! First time walking out with no shots or medications!
Bubbles!!!
Kenzie is obsessed with bubbles! She signs ‘please’ for more bubbles 🙂
Water and Bike Day
Now that the weather is (mostly) sunny, Kenzie’s center is holding more outdoor activities. Last week, they got to play with water, and today they got to bring their own ”bikes’ and helmets!
Jodi’s Post for the day
