Jodi was asked to talk about upcoming legislative and regulatory changes with the CACFP (the government program that provides food for high risk kids). The person who was planning to give the presentation wasn’t able to travel. Presentations for 50 or 100 people are fine, but 500 seems intimidating. All went well – here are some pictures from the ballroom and even from the podium (jodi’s view) before the presentation.
The group also hosted a costume party; a great opportunity to show off our dorky food program humor!
Jodi’s first trip without Brad and Kenzie in almost 2 years (first trip without Kenzie EVER!) Skype kisses aren’t as good as the real thing, but so thankful for the technology!
Alex and a friend were in town visiting Nana for the week so they stopped by the farm. Kenzie had fun walking with them out to the back and then hanging out on the porch!
It looks even better in the daytime!
We finally had a chance to decorate the pumpkin we picked out last weekend. As a bonus, Kenzie’s center gave her a pumpkin to take home on Friday so we had TWO to carve. We decided to go with one traditional and one closely resembling Kenzie’s favorite character!
Just making breakfast with Dad!
