So after the 5:30 am tornado wake up call, we were hopeful that the afternoon flights would be OK….. Nope! After sitting on the runway for an hour and a half, we were deplaned with no idea of when the plane would take off. The delay? Tornadoes in Dallas! So, I was able to rebook a later flight through Phoenix, arriving in Portland around 2am. Now no one is leaving St. Louis – more tornado warnings here!

While in Utah, we drove through Brad’s old neighborhood in Sandy and stopped at his old house.
We met up at the temple for family pictures after their sealing. Kenzie with her nanna, her great aunts Karen and Kathy, and her cousin Brittany. Elmo was very comfortable hanging out at the temple.
Off to Salt Lake City for our nephew’s wedding. Kenzie will get to meet 4 of her 5 cousins for the first time! Kenzie stayed awake for the whole flight and did great!
Looks like someone got a small hole in their pants today…. ( hint: it wasn’t Jodi!)
Oh, and Yes! Those are staples that were used to ‘fix’ it!
About 3 weeks ago Kids at Kenzie’s center were asked to bring in and share red things. Kenzie shared her Elmo doll… And she hasn’t wanted to put it down since!
