Jodi joined her new search and rescue group, Mountain Wave, to promote SAR safety and what to do if you get lost. Our K9 team was a big hit!
Since it’s below 40 today, we set up Kenzie’s tent that her Magas made for her. We filled it with books, blankets, and stuffed animals. She likes it so much, this is where we’ll be taking our nap!
Severe winds means the power is out with little chance of having it restored soon, so….. Pizza for dinner!
We’ve had one good sized branch land across the bed of the F350 (no apparent damage, another branch put a good sized dent in our new gutter, and a gas tank fall over and narrowly miss the motor home. Can’t wait to see what surprises daylight will bring!

It’s finally starting to feel like fall. It poured this afternoon and on the way home, Kenzie and I saw this double rainbow. She said, I can see red , blue, green, orange… I want to ride on that rainbow!
We picked up 2 pumpkins at the Pumpkin Fest last weekend and Kenzie got one more from her school so we did some carving today!
Brad had a class about an hour south of Salem this weekend. We stayed at a recreational park in Brownsville and had the whole place to ourselves… Literally!
Kenzie has been watching the Air Bud movies lately so now she thinks her Tuckie Boy can play all sports like Buddy. Not so much.
