Firewood done!
Well, we’re all set for the winter with firewood now. Just need to get it all stacked and under cover before the rain comes.

Last year we decided to get into bee keeping. It takes a couple of seasons to build up the colony but this year we finally got to enjoy all of the bees work. The hive didn’t fill up as well as we’d have liked, but it was enough to harvest some honey. And it tastes great. With all the blackberries in the area, the flavor really comes through.
This week Cindi and Jean came up in their camper for their annual visit. We all had a great time together, but one day when Jodi, Kenzie, and Cindi went into town for the afternoon Jean and Brad headed out back for some target practice.
We also came across what looks like evidence that a bear is wandering around the back of the property.
we’ve been to the same park in San Francisco the past three years. Here are the side by side pictures….
One year ago –
we’re ready to head home! TSA agents are so impressed with Kenzie’s efficiency getting through security. Not her first flight! Or second, or twelfth…..
the ‘big’ slide we’ve been to every year for the last three years didn’t seem so big this time. Then, on to the Disney museum and back to pier 39 for ice cream before heading to the airport.
We biked the bridge to Sausalito. About 11 miles and this kiddo peddled all but the last mile!
we checked into our very fancy hotel (free suite thanks to points!) and Kenzie was excited to find that she has her own bed!
We walked around China town and stopped to watch how fortune cookies are made.
Flight 61 to San Fran tomeet up with Brad for the weekend. While putting her backpack on to the X-ray table, Kenzie asked if it was ok to leave her phone in her bag. Such the experienced traveler!
Apparently Kenzie has a boyfriend…
