Princess Bride
We watched The Princess Bride with Kenzie for the first time tonight and she loved it! We had to watch it a second time as soon as it ended. During dinner, Kenzie said she didn’t want chicken on her plate. I asked her to eat around it. Kenzie’s response- As you wish! I love that my 4 year old is quoting the best movie ever!
Another Day in DC
Today we made it through most of the Museum of Natural History and took a walk to the White House. The museum had a great display of live butterflies.
National Zoo
It was so cold most of the animals stayed inside. At least we got to see the pandas!
We also picked up a new friend…. Bat Girl the rabbit. 
National Cathedral
The stained glass was amazing!
Another Search
This one didn’t involve the hills like last weekend’s search, but a crazy amount of blackberries! It reminded me of my favorite Disney movie… ‘Don’t throw me in the briar patch! Anything but the briar patch!’
Cannon Beach Search
I wasn’t planning to go to the beach this weekend but a late call out for a missing Alzheimer’s patient on Saturday night changed my plans. With only a little bit of rain, this turned out to be a beautiful day for a search. Unfortunately, we were not able to find him on our route. This was my first opportunity to search with Leroy the dog.
