At MRA, every grade has to do an independent project each year. These projects include three components: a visual, a spoken, and a written component. For kindergarten, students are expected to speak 5 to 10 minutes about a topic they love. Kenzie started by brainstorming all the different things she loves to talk about. And here’s the list:
She decided she wants to talk about her role as a farmer. Her next step was to make a list of all the things she would talk about. This will count towards her written portion of her project.
Now she’s working on the visual component. She decided to pick out a bunch pictures of all of her animals and put them up on a poster board.
Since we were in Depoe Bay for the egg hunt, we decided to go whale watching! We followed a few whales as they migrated north, saw a few breaches and a few tales!
Since we’re camping on the coast for the weekend, we found an Easter egg hunt near by in Depoe Bay.
While camping…
We went to Kent and Miranda’s for a fondue party and the kids had fun playing with Snapchat. It got quite and we found them passed out!
Kenzie moved her chicks outside to their coop today… they’re getting big and Kenzie has been doing such a great job checking on them every morning and night.
