So Brad went out to feed this morning and noticed that we were short one cow. He looked around for a while and found Chucky in the neighbor’s pasture. Apparently Chucky decided he wanted to play with the neighbor cows. During the storms a few weeks ago a tree fell down across a fence bordering our two pastures, but we really didn’t think he’d make it over. We were wrong! We spent a good part of Saturday fixing the fence (Jodi got stuck climbing over the fence and Brad was kind enough to grab the camera before helping!). Then we had to pack up the trailer and cattle panels and head over to the neighbor’s house. They were great and we were able to round up the cow in less than an hour.
